What is Caesar's?

Then the Pharisees went and plotted how they might entangle Him in His talk. And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, "Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of the Mighty One in truth; nor do You care about anyone, for You do not regard the person of men. Tell us, therefore, what do You think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?" But Yahshua perceived their wickedness, and said, "Why do you test Me, you hypocrites? Show Me the tax money." So they brought Him a denarius [a small silver coin]. And He said to them, "Whose image and inscription is this?" They said to Him, "Caesar's." And He said to them, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to the Almighty the things that are the Almighty's." When they had heard these words, they marveled, and left Him and went their way. (Matthew 22:15-22)

It's time for you to reconsider how you have been indoctrinated. Don't let this opportunity pass you by. All it will take is childlike faith, if you are willing to see. The faith of a child is empowered by innocence until it becomes corrupted and crushed by opinions. A child would quickly nod in agreement when exposed to the truth about the Kingdom of Yahweh. After all, He did warn that, "unless you are converted and become like little children, you would not enter [understand and experience] the Kingdom." (Matthew 18:3)

Caesar is, if nothing else, cunning. And the Pharisees have easily been ensnared in his trap. The Messiah is, if nothing else, mysterious in the way He deconstructs their lies. When the silver coin was produced bearing the image of Caesar, the Messiah's question was pure and innocent (childlike) to its core; "Whose face and engraving is on the coin?" What your adult mind fails to perceive is that, with this inquiry, Yahshua was not just proclaiming ownership in contrast to the inscription; He was also revealing the paradox.

How so? Imagine the small silver coin in your hand. Can you feel it; can you see it there? Now imagine the image of Caesar on the coin, and answer this question within yourself: "Whose coin is it?" Most of you immediately think, "Caesar's!" And therein is paradox. When Yahshua said, "Give to Yahweh what is Yahweh's and Caesar what is Caesar's," Caesar had already programmed you to believe the coin was his, and therefore, he also stole your allegiance.

Today is the day we settle the matter, once and forever. We will do so in a way a child would understand, by asking a few simple questions. First: "Who made the silver? Who created the silver and therefore owns the silver?" Next: "Does one get to claim ownership over something simply because he imprints his image on it?"

Would it be too profound to consider that, while the imposter was actually fashioning the silver coin from Yahweh's raw material, minting it and inscribing his face and lettering on it, that the process actually caused some attrition, some loss of material? Wouldn't then the depreciation of Yahweh's assets be more accurately described as thievery by Caesar, as opposed to ownership? Would it be too bold to claim that the intention of such a hijacking of Yahweh's "assets" is the equivalent of counterfeiting?

If you don't recognize the origin of what you have in your possession, then you are bound to worship it (pay it homage and allegiance) rather than honoring the Creator of it (Romans 1:18-25). Has the paradigm shift occurred?

Always remember that what is Yahweh's is the substance, the true value, and what is Caesar's will only ever be an illusion. And if Yahweh owns everything, then give to Yahweh what is Yahweh's and give the illusion back to Caesar.
