Earthen Furnace

"And the words [commandments, speech, utterance] of Yahweh are flawless words, like silver refined [purified] in an earthen furnace [crucible], refined seven times." (Psalm 12:6) Say it, "Words, words, words, words." The words of Yahweh are the pathway to holy thinking, the roadmap for the narrow way that leads to perfection. They are the scalpel which circumcises your mind, revealing the mind of the Messiah within you. For the word of the Mighty One is alive and active [powerful]. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges [discerns] the thoughts and attitudes [intents] of the heart [mind]. (Hebrews 4:12)

The great majority of times that we find silver mentioned in the Scriptures it is used as money to purchase or redeem various objects or materials. Because of the fall, everything in your conscience remains in a fallen (unrefined) state until redeemed by Yahweh. On the deepest level your fallen state is maintained by the false perceptions of Yahweh's love, which must be redeemed, or in another word, refined, until love's pure and organic form is all that you accept. His word, purified like silver seven times, is the path to this redemption.

Earth represents the corporate mind of men wherein each man is a single thought, and each thought gathered together as a whole is the congregation. The furnace is that which assimilates and "works out" each thought that comes forth into consciousness. The heat of the furnace is the turmoil and suffering, and inevitably the conviction and repentance that removes the dross. His words become purified in an earthen furnace, the minds of men exposed to great heat. The outcome is pure holiness, the mind of the Messiah in you.

Seven means completion. On the seventh day He rested, He completed His work. The purification of man's consciousness (Hebrews 9:13-14) is a process that Yahweh ordains; you can be confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Yahshua the Messiah. (Philippians 1:6) And that day of completion is the Seventh Millennium.

You are the earthen furnace loved one. Your conscience is where your entire life is lived, and it is that very thing that Yahweh intends to restore to the state He originally intended, Oneness with Him. One mind, One tongue, One speech, One body, a congregation of thoughts all in perfect accord with Yahweh Himself. Your mind will be purified like silver refined seven times. So, don't despise the heat in the process. There is One body and One Spirit, just as you were called in One hope of your calling; One Master, One faith, One baptism; One Mighty One and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:4-6)
